JT and I once got into an argument. This was when he was a wee sprout, and Dirty Music Lyrics and Videos were the Great Threat To Our Nation's Youth instead of Muder Simulation Video Games. He was on a college debate tour (with Professor Griff of NWA) at the time, and got really verbally beaten up during Q&A.

He told me that by insisting that I had the natural right to determine what I wanted to listen to (instead of him deciding for me) that I was placing the nation's youth in jeopardy. I told him that by spending all his time trying to inject himself between parents and children, he was shirking the job of raising his own children.

He accused me of being an ignorant Frommian. I quoted Frank Zappa snarkery towards the PMRC back at him and got a huge laugh from the audience. He looked really steamed up about that. Then the moderator switched over to the other mic in the lecture hall.
