Politics is a mess these days, isn't it? No one seems to agree on anything. Lots of fighting, lots of political things -- it's crazy!

I think that politics is certainly something. Don't you?

POLL: What's up with politics these days?

18% (4) Too many politicians

9% (2) Not enough politicians

0% (0) Taxes

4% (1) Bipartisanship

45% (10) Smooth, Mellow Flavor

22% (5) Referendums
22 people have voted in this poll. (This poll is not active.)

It's like ice cream. It starts ot hard and umanagable then when it gets heated up you have a sticky mess which you can't clean up without an insane amount of effort.

I think we need to fling more people into the sun. Stupid people, evil people, and the occasional random person off the street. Interest in both politics and justice would increase, and as an added bonus, catapult stocks would skyrocket!

Should I be pedantic here and bemoan the miscommunication or should I embrace it like Zamphir?

As a very likely "random", I vehemently oppose.

Plus, what if the wrong people get their hands on the catapult.

Oh sure, we can use basic political knowledge now: "Do you know who the president is?"

But what if something happens and the chicken wing almonds take over? The litmus test might become: "Do you know Jesus?"

I would not want to live in that world.

The nice thing about our current situation is that while it's not ideal, at least no one group is powerful enough to control what everyone else can do.

With, you know, the exception of gay people being able to get married.

But we're working on it!

Not that deerboy's been either the best or worst example of grammar usage on the forums...

Except for that part. Grammatical and correctly spelled. Wow. You're trying to write bad, and you can't.

I guess people like eltoro really are making an effort when they write.
